Paint
Fire Farm uses a powder coat paint process that provides a finish that is durable and provides a wide range of effects while being relatively environmentally and applicator friendly. We offer a number of different stock colors and finishes shown below and are able to acquire custom colors and finishes for special projects. Fire Farm can match RAL and Pantone colors upon request.

Mesh
Now our signature material, Fire Farm was an innovator in the use of metal wire cloth lampshade diffusers more than twenty years ago. The material still stands the test of time and is one of our favorites to work with. The custom-woven metal mesh shade diffuser material takes its color from the metal wire itself. The actual color of the raw metal wires woven together create the final color of the shade. This material is hand-folded and shaped into the various shades of our products to provide a fire-like glow when lit. These metal meshes are available in a broad range of rigidity from sheer, silk-like softness to stiff and self-supporting. Primary width available is 48 inches, although some material is available 72 inches wide. |

Fabric
Fire Farm offers an assortment of natural fiber fabrics in our product line. Crepe De Chine and Broadcloth silks are smooth and translucent in nature. Dupioni and Shantung silks provide a more textured translucent look. Hemp Muslin is an interesting mix of Hemp fiber with cotton Muslin providing a rich warm and textured diffuser. Organza silk is transparent and very ethereal. |
